Where are your products made?
All our products are sourced from US businesses. Some products are designed in the US, but created offshore including in China.
We are continually working to update our range so that it is also all US made. Please email us if you’re unsure about the Made In status of a product.
Given our pro-West values, we are also in communication with EU, UK and Australian brands. These products will be added to our store in due course.
Okay. So which products are from American companies?
That’s a great question. ReadyWise, Mons Peak, Coleman, Resqme and JupitersGear are all US brands. We also have Coghlan which was started in Canada, Tag Heuer made in France and Technomarine which are made in Italy.
Please bear in mind that we are new company and need your support to become the go-to Outdoor and Survival supplies site.
As we grow, we can continue to update our range with more Western made products.

This is a very understandable concern. We’ve written more about it on our About Us page.

Right. And where are you located?
We choose to be anonymous with our location.
Go West has warehouses based on the East and West coast (as well as globally) so we are able to support all Americans and international visitors.
What about the name? BowTiedSaint?
We were inspired by the BowTiedBull Substack and wanted to join in the incredible community they’re building.
So, the BowTied comes from the Bull and the Saint comes from our devout Christian beliefs.
I’ve placed an order. How will I know its gone through?
Please allow up to 3 business days after placing an order for us to process and ship.
For US customers, please allow 4-7 business days after shipment to receive your order.
The average turnaround time is 5 business days, but there can be exceptions so allow up 10 business days.
For all other nations, we will specify a timeframe with you directly depending on your location.
The average international order will take up to three weeks to complete, but again there are exceptions.
You should receive three emails from us:
- 1: confirms the purchase.
- 2: confirms that we’ve processed your order.
- 3: will have your tracking information.

Two weeks to get my package. That’s too long. Can you move faster?
At this point, the answer is no. We need this timeframe to secure and ship products.
We are looking to add in expedited delivery as a shipping option, however this will require an additional fee at checkout.
The good news is that we can continue to grow and improve as Christian and Pro-West consumers support smaller businesses who align with their values.
So, please be patient with us and together we can become a juggernaut. 🙂
I have a discount code, but where do I put it?
The coupon code can be inputted on the Cart page. There is a spot in the left hand corner under your products.
Please put in your code and hit Apply Coupon. You should see the discount appear on the right hand column showing your pricing.
I’m unable to complete my purchase. Why might this be?
There are two common reasons.
Fristly, can you please make sure you are not on a VPN. This is known to disrupt the checkout script.
Secondly, are you trying to get delivery to a PO Box? We are unable to process those are the moment.
We are working to allow sales under the above conditions, as we appreciate the privacy conscious, but for the moment we are unable to do so.
My tracking information shows a delivery from China. Why is this?
Firstly, we have distribution centres around the world to ensure low shipping fees and a steady supply.
Customers based in Australia and New Zealand, for instance, will see that some stock is shipped from China because of this.
Secondly, we do have some products made in China while all our suppliers are Western owned companies.
We are in the process of changing over these groups to full US made organisations. The United States has ceded a lot of ground and so it will be an ongoing process.

I ordered several products, but have only received some. What happened?
Depending on the product you purchase, we may need to send them to you in multiple shipments.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if the tracking information email you receive doesn’t have all required information.
The tracking information says ‘Arrived Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item’. What mean?
This means that your products were initially picked up by a third party courier.
They then take the order to a USPS hub for the “final mile” delivery to your place.
The tracking information will update once USPS scan the products into their tracking system.

I’ve received an International Assessment fee on my credit card. Why is this?
The bank account linked to our payment provider is based overseas.
This is for tax purposes and our US customers will receive the benefit as we can keep tax off purchases.
So while there is a minor processing fee, it works out to be more cost effective for you.
I see you ship internationally. Is this for all your products?
Not yet, no. Please check each product page to determine if we’re able to ship internationally.
In most instances, you’ll find that we can do this but some locations are too expensive to support.
This is especially true in light of Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions globally.
I’ve purchased Long Life food. How do I prepare it?

What allergens can be found in the long life products?
Milk, soy, and wheat (gluten) are the common allergens found in ReadyWise products. For specific ingredients by product type please consult the nutritional labels.
I’d like a refund. What do I need to do?
Please contact us at email@example.com, explain your situation and provide photos of your product if necessary.
We are aware this can be a hassle and will endeavour to make the process as pain-free as possible.
